Update on the Foot Front

We met with the orthopedic doctor last week and were given great news. It seems that the "magic shoes" are doing their job. Brendan will still be wearing them overnight until the end of June. He will then go a month without, and after getting the approval from another doctor's visit in July, we will be finished forever! (Hopefully). The doc seems to think that he will still have a little bit of pigeon-toe by the time we have completed, but that it should not be a hindrance to his walking or growing. Yay!

Easter 2010

The night before Easter Brendan was able to dye eggs for the first time. He did not like to touch the eggs (which were a little warm) but enjoyed the effect of the changed colors. On Easter Sunday we went out to Brendan's Great-grandpa Pelhank's to celebrate with family. It was a beautiful day, and we were all able to enjoy some fresh air--though it was a bit windy. We can't get over how big Brendan and Jaxon have gotten. They were able to play in the yard, and with their new racetrack (which they seemed to enjoy tearing apart rather than using). Some of the other highlights were: Brendan was pumped about his new movie, the Incredibles, Jaxon really enjoyed the swings, we all enjoyed the company of Uncle Keith and Aunt Sue (who were in from Michigan) and Uncle Nean, some singing which include 'Father Abraham'--see picture, and Brendan hit the pavement hard scratching up his face. Don't worry, he recovered well--just thought we'd mention in case you noticed in pictures. Speaking of pictures...

"Wow! Now, that's worth touching the eggs!"

"Yipee! The Incredibles!!!"

Our Little Jumping Bean

So Brendan is learning to jump. But for some reason he can only get one foot to leave the ground at a time. Ha ha. (Please excuse Mom's commentary, and terrible videography).
